Tom and Cait’s Wedding
Frogmore Creek, Tasmania
The vineyard, the forest, the beach, the cellar door.
Starting with Tom and his groomsmen, I began my day of photography at the Crowne Plaza in Hobart. Naturally, they were dressed and ready to go… Not really- I found them in the lobby, waiting for one of the groomsmen to meet them with the room key. Once in their room though, it was a whirl of finding suits, cutting off labels, devouring a Macca’s burger (or two) and getting ready.
Cait and her bridesmaids on the other hand, were the epitome of cool, calm and collected. Cait was waiting for me to arrive so she could put on her dress and do the ever popular “bridal reveal”. This always makes for such special photos with the bridesmaids seeing the bride for the first time in her dress.
Next, it was off to Frogmore Creek to capture the beautiful venue and guests arriving. The reception area was delicately decorated, complementing the cellar door look and feel perfectly.
Just as Cait was arriving in the car park and guests taking their seats, Tom realised he’d forgotten… wait for it… the rings! After a few panicked moments, and with the help of a few friends, Tom had a couple of rings to choose from (for the photo anyway…).
The ceremony was beautiful, the creative photoshoot awesome and the reception meaningful and such fun!
Congrats Tom and Cait! This is a wedding I definitely won’t forget!
